These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at gokhan.vc and its content, including the blog (together, the “Services”), operated by Gökhan Ventures (“we”, “us”).

Acceptance

By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services

Gökhan Ventures is a venture studio. gokhan.vc is an informational one-pager presenting the studio, a directory of its public channels, and an occasional blog. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including: attempting to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access; using them for unlawful purposes; or interfering with other users. gokhan.vc hosts no user-generated content and accepts no uploads; report any suspected abuse or illegal content to contact@gokhan.vc and we will act on valid reports.

Restricted jurisdictions & sanctions

You may not use the Services if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or accessing them from a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are a person or entity on a restricted-party or sanctions list administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any comparable authority. Restricted jurisdictions currently include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, and may change as sanctions programs evolve. By using the Services, you represent that you are not a Restricted Person and that you will not use the Services for any prohibited purpose or for the benefit of any sanctioned or restricted party.

No warranty

The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gökhan Ventures and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services.

Third-party services & links

The Services rely on third-party infrastructure (including Cloudflare for hosting, security, and delivery) governed by its own terms. gokhan.vc also links to external platforms (such as X, GitHub, LinkedIn, Farcaster, Bluesky, Substack, Telegram, and Discord); those destinations are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by generally applicable principles of international commercial and consumer-protection law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected, and nothing here deprives you of them.
